Days of Our Lives alum Arianne Zucker (formerly Nicole Walker-DiMera) left the show and sued Albert Alarr, the soap’s former producer, back in 2024. Plus, Executive Producer Ken Corday was mentioned in the lawsuit, as well as Corday Productions, Inc. The news this week is that the lawsuit reached a settlement.

The Settlement News

The news that the lawsuit was settled arrived via The LA Times on October 13. In their article, the outlet revealed that “Alarr settled solely to ‘end the dispute and move forward.'” Additionally, “The settlement was filed Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court with no terms disclosed.”

It did drag on for some time, and no doubt, Alarr and Arianne Zucker feel relieved to put the ugly situation behind them. However, it seems unlikely that Zucker will reprise her role on the soap opera. Read on to recall the original allegations that caused a scandal for the DOOL show.

The Claims BY Real-Life Nicole Walker

Fans of the Peacock-streamed soap opera were horrified when the original claims arrived. They included sexual harassment claims against Alarr. Allegedly, he acted inappropriately on the set with Arianne Zucker. And, when she started making complaints about the alleged behavior, she felt she was unfairly targeted by the executive production team.

An argument arose over the renewal of her contract, and later, she filmed her last scenes. Obviously, she felt that she had been unfairly terminated, and she exited the show. Sadly, it all started to hit the headlines just at a time of celebration as the soap opera star celebrated her 26th year of being a cast member in Salem.

Ultimately, the settlement seems to have been an effort to get rid of a problem, and so far there hasn’t been any acknowledgment of wrongdoing.

Will Fans See Her On Another Soap?

For now, it remains up in the air whether fans will see the actress in another soap opera. According to The Sun US, after she left DOOL, she was cast as “The Madam” in the movie, Meme. However, she also relocated to Lake Tahoe and seems to be focused on film production projects.

Zucker’s last scenes on DOOL showed her and her fictional partner, Eric, played by Greg Vaughan, relocating to Paris along with their baby. Well, Vaughan moved on and these days you can see him in the newest soap, Beyond The Gates. While he remains in soaps, the business might not want to take on someone who made claims against various executives.
