Corey Feldman’s DWTS Focus Shaken by Charlie Sheen Drama, Source Reveals

Dancing with the StarsSeason 34 of Dancing with the Stars wasted no time in raising the stakes. Just two episodes in, the ballroom has already claimed its first goodbyes—and in a surprising twist, it was a double elimination.

Actor Corey Feldman, paired with pro dancer Jenna Johnson, saw his journey cut short alongside former NBA player Baron Davis and Britt Stewart. For Feldman, however, the exit came with more than just the sting of leaving early.

The Weight Behind the Performance

Behind the glittering lights and rehearsals, Feldman may have been carrying a different kind of burden.

According to sources, the recent release of Charlie Sheen’s Netflix documentary stirred up painful memories that trailed Corey into the competition.

It’s no secret that Feldman has previously made disturbing allegations against Sheen regarding his late friend, Corey Haim—claims Sheen has publicly denied.

The timing was difficult to ignore. One insider revealed that Feldman attended a People magazine party with his fellow castmates, only to see Sheen’s face splashed across the cover of the very same magazine.

For someone already under the microscope of live television, that reminder reportedly added to the pressure.

A Rough Start in the Ballroom

Jenna Johnson admitted that rehearsals didn’t begin as smoothly as fans might expect. While other couples had been practicing, she noted she hadn’t seen Corey since the initial cast reveal on Good Morning America. She explained that he had “previous work engagements and personal stuff going on.”

Her brother-in-law, former DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, even suggested that Jenna was facing an “uphill climb” with her partner. Despite that, those close to the actor insist he was fully committed.

“Corey showed up every day and worked his ass off,” one source told Page Six. The insider pushed back against rumors of tension between Corey and Jenna, adding, “He developed a great friendship with Jenna! He looks forward to meeting her son and staying in touch.”

Saying Goodbye Early

For Feldman, being the first to go wasn’t just about scoring low—it was about the narrative that followed.

“The most upsetting thing is the narrative that he didn’t show up and that he and his partner Jenna [Johnson] didn’t get along,” the insider stressed, emphasizing that the partnership was genuine.

Now, as fans continue to watch the season unfold, Feldman leaves with unfinished business in the ballroom but also a reminder that personal battles don’t pause for reality television.

Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+, with episodes streaming the following day on Hulu.
