On December 16, officers found both of them dead with gunshot wounds. Initially, police advised folks there would be an investigation. Plus, local members of the community were assured there was no threat to anyone else. New updates explain that one of them decided to end both of them.

Of course, only one person is thought to have pulled the trigger. In time, that will be established. But for now, it’s enough to know that two people with a three year-old child have died.

Christina’s Career

Christina had a successful career and after leaving the media industry, she was named the Advisor of the Year 2024 at Thompson High School, where she worked. Principal Wesley Hunter remarked that the school was mourning her departure. He also gave his condolences and prayers to her family and the people who were affected.

At the time of her death, Chambers was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. That company also issued a statement in her honor. A director said that Christina was like a jewel in the collar of the company with her friendly and loving nature. Above all, many people feel wrenching sadness that the suicide homicide crime left a little child without parents.
