Cane’s Vow: He’s Taking Over Genoa City and Winning Back Lily on Y&R

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) refuses to abandon his hostile takeover plans in Genoa City.

That’s not all, either; he refuses to give up on winning Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who he believes is the love of his life.

Lily warned Cane not to go to Genoa City on Tuesday’s (July 29) show. She doesn’t see anyone forgiving him for the chateau murders, especially Chance Chancellor (Coonnor Floyd).

The Winters family won’t greet him with open arms, either. It will take Nate Hastings, Jr (Sean Dominic) a long time to forgive Cane’s role in Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers).

Even so, The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Cane remains more determined than ever to return to Genoa City to take over Jabot, Chancellor Industries, Winters, and Newman Enterprise.

Cane Refuses To Listen To Lily’s Stern Advice

Y&R spoilers reveal that Cane still wants to go to Genoa City to achieve his business goals.

Minutes after Carter (Vincent Stalba) and Chance’s deaths, Cane approaches Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about his business plan. He suggests he will invest in Abbott Communications, a move that would save his company.

Jack recently threatened to pull Billy’s funding, which would make the company dead in the water. Billy needed Cane’s investment or face failure.

The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Billy told Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that he will name her CEO of Abbott Communications, so he can go after the big prize: Chancellor Industries.

With Billy and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as allies, Cane will make moves to take over all the major companies in Genoa City. He launched his plan of attack by buying real estate all over town, making him a powerful businessman in the area.

Cane Wants Lily

After Cane obtains the companies he desires, he plans to go after his real prize: Lily! The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Lily is not on board with any type of reunion just yet.

She is blinded by her anger over past heartbreak and the murders in France. It will take time and patience for her to move past that and see Cane in a different light.

Y&R spoilers suggest that Lily’s perception of Cane will shift during November sweeps. She will see the old Cane, and could fall in love with her ex-husband again. Keep watching the CBS soap opera to find out how it all plays out.
