Big Brother 27 (BB27) spoilers tease that Rachel Reilly is not feeling confident in her ability to win the season.
She whines to Morgan Pope that she hasn’t won any competitions, her number one ally was evicted, and she feels out of the loop with major game talk.
Rachel cries that she is tarnishing her Big Brother legacy. She wonders if she made a mistake by returning to play the game.
Morgan tries to comfort her. She tells Rachel that the game just started; the next few weeks will determine who makes it to the jury. Rachel hugs Morgan, thanking her for listening without judgment.
Rachel Reilly Worries She Doesn’t Have ‘It’ In Her To Win
Rachel first appeared on Big Brother in Season 12. She had a rough season, often the target of bullying from the other players.
She was different and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. Reilly admits that it was a difficult experience for her, but she’s glad she played. After all, that’s where she met her husband, Brandon Villegas.
CBS loved Rachel and believed she could win. If not, she would bring in the viewers. So, they asked her to return in Season 13. Brandon and Rachel were a bonafide couple by then, and were struggling to make ends meet.
As Rachel details in the premiere episode, they put all their belongings in a storage unit while she played Big Brother for the season.
Rachel’s sacrifice paid off; she won the season and the $500,000 grand prize. It changed her life and led to lifelong friendships outside the house.
Now, after 13 seasons, the mother of two is trying to become the first person to win Big Brother twice.
Sure, Nicole Franzel won Season 18 and Reindeer Games, but that isn’t the same bragging rights as winning a three-month-long season.
Rachel Reilly Is Somewhat Safe Now
No one is talking about nominating Rachel. Even if the Power of Veto is played, she doesn’t seem to be a target of anyone but Jimmy Heargety. The Week 3 nominees are Keanu Soto, Kelley Jorgensen, and Clifton ‘Will’ Williams.
Kelley seems to want to turn the house against Rachel, possibly setting the stage to get Rach on the block. Her subtle hints to get Rachel out this week are falling on deaf ears as the Head of Household, Lauren Domingue, has other plans.
Rachel’s meltdown could be just another gameplay tool she’s using to get sympathy from the rest of the house. She might think it makes her look weaker and not a threat to keep in the house.
