The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, August 27, 2025, reveal Hope not knowing where to turn when Liam gives her the shock of her life.

The last thingB&B’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 27: Confused Hope Spills Her Gutsever expected was for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to confess his undying love for her and want her back. She thought that ship sailed in 2023 when they divorced due to her feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Hope was devastated when Thomas left town, but she put her life back together and decided Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was the one for her. 

Now, Carter is ready to surprise Hope with plans to elope, while Liam begs Hope to take Carter’s ring off her finger. After such a surprising morning, Hope needs someone to talk to as she is not quite sure what to do. (Make sure to check out our next week B&B spoilers, here!)

Will Deacon Have Words of Wisdom?

So, Hope turns to her dad and tells him that Liam wants her back. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) has always liked Liam and preferred him to Carter. In fact, Deacon doesn’t like Carter at all, especially after they had their little martial arts showdown in the design office. Neither man won that battle.

Hope knows she has to make up her own mind, but she needs a sounding board. She had put Liam in the past, but being with him all these months may have changed her feelings. The only reason she even agreed to marry Carter was because she thought Liam was dying, and Liam convinced her that she had to go on without him.

Hope has no idea that Carter is all in on planning this wedding, even if they elope. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has now agreed to be his best man, so he is all in. Carter may soon be in for a rude awakening (as always), but at least Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire)  will be there to pick up the pieces of Carter’s forever broken heart. Will Carter ever get love right, or his this his lot in life?
