B&B Spoilers Wednesday, April 23: Liam’s Death Sentence Leaves A Dilemma For Finn

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, April 23, 2025, tease an emotional day for Finn as the weight of Liam’s diagnosis takes hold.

Liam Can’t Cope

When Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) broke the news to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that he had an inoperable brain tumor, John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) knew it would be hard for Liam to accept.

After all, to be so young and learn that you are dying is beyond the pale. It’s not something anyone in the prime of their life should have to face. (Make sure to check out our next week Y&R spoilers, here!)

Liam doesn’t even want to face it. He is in a state of denial and vows to fight for his life. He knows there has to be something that could save him because he can’t bear the thought of not being there for his two little girls.

Steffy also doesn’t know how Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) is going to cope. She loves her daddy so much and the heartache of losing him might be too much to bear.

Finn Steps Up

Hearing all of this causes Finn to know exactly what he has to do. He vows to be the best stepfather possible for Kelly. He will be the dad that Kelly needs after not being able to be there for his own daughter.

He has seen how Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) has turned out without a father to guide her through childhood and he won’t let the same thing happen to Kelly.

Steffy is grateful to have such an amazing husband who will do absolutely anything for her and her children — as long as he just stays away from his two crazy relatives, especially Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

Too bad Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) does not have the same in her life as Beth ultimately loses her father. Nobody has told Hope what is going on yet but she might want to know that her ex-husband and father of her child is practically on his deathbed.

Will Liam wise up and tell her soon before she inevitably hears the news from someone else?
