The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Sad Sack Eric?

Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) can see that her husband is down in the dumps. He had no desire to retire, but Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) forced his hand with that silly little party, so Eric Forrester (John McCook) decided that it just might be time. The problem is, Eric now doesn’t feel like he is in the mood for the holidays. Something about his situation does not feel right to him. He wants to work and be creative, but he promised that he would give this retirement idea a go. Donna has to do a lot of convincing to get Eric into the holiday spirit.

While Eric mulls things over, he decides to pay a visit to Forrester Creations for another day of memories.

Eric’s Final FC Moments?

When Eric arrives at the fashion house he founded and put on the map, he remembers all of his wonderful moments with his first wife, Stephanie Douglas Forrester (Susan Flannery), creating couture and getting their vision off the ground.

They started the company for their children and now their children and grandchildren have taken over and have things under control. Or at least that is what he thinks.

But Eric does not feel as if this is his final chapter. Does he know he will be needed when Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) new fashion house gets off the ground?

He never expected to have such competition from a longtime Forrester employee, but here we are. Katie feels useless, which is very much how Eric feels at the moment.

Katie’s fashion house will surely cause some weird dynamics with the Forresters, Spencers, and Logans, especially with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) still working at Forrester and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Donna being married to Forrester men.

Eric may soon see that his retirement was a bit premature, but will Ridge see that? He may just need his dear old dad after all, but it will be hard to admit it.
