The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) is serious.
The warning she issued wasn’t heard by Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), but it is highly likely to be felt.
Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) successful attempt to bond with her realized paternal grandmother is paying short-term dividends. She’s gained an advocate in a town where almost everyone, including her mother and father, wants nothing to do with her.
Of course, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) isn’t part of the mob that wants to return Luna to prison. His incredibly open-hearted efforts earned Luna a decades-early release from prison.
The short time she spent living with him at the mansion was just one issue Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) raised during his heated confrontation with his father.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Saved Liam Spencer’s Life
The contrasting scenes were stark. In one, Luna and Sheila continued to bask in the glow of their genetic connection. In another, Liam held Steffy’s hand, causing her to believe that Bill was responsible for his hospitalization.
Bill’s reputation made Steffy believe that he beat up Liam. Clifton’s character recalled what happened in the mansion living room but didn’t tell Steffy that both of his collapses weren’t his father’s fault.
Fans were left to wonder if Liam’s foggy head space was why he didn’t clarify what happened.
Alternatively, he could withhold that information to put the heat on Bill as a form of reprisal. But that would be out of character for Liam, the self-appointed moralist.
Sheila Carter Sharpe Means Business
Sheila has bided her time these past years, likely longer than viewers have witnessed in soap time. Because of her husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), Sheila has chosen not to pursue a relationship with her son, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
However, the audience sees how Sheila reacts when Luna tells her about Steffy’s insistence that Finn has no connection to her. Brown’s character plans to use her grudge and Luna’s biological connection to Finn to restart family efforts.
To Sheila, family is everything. Her comment to Luna about people not being thrilled to be related to her was sad, even considering all that Sheila’s done to so many through the daytime years.
John Finn Finnegan Takes A New Stance
Finn appears committed to following Steffy’s direction. Bill’s comparison of his ingratitude to Liam’s reinforced an intriguing alliance.
Steffy, Finn, Liam, and many others oppose Luna being free. They also see Sheila as a threat, with their fortitude being strengthened whenever the alliance between her and Luna is exposed or confirmed.
So, Sheila and Luna have a hard road to travel. Yet, as they mentioned, Finn’s initial affection for them was legitimate, and with that, he could take a new stance in favor of this other part of his family as the future plays out.
