B&B Spoilers: Hope Lets Go Of Carter To Focus On Liam

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has spent the last few weeks coming to terms with his fatal diagnosis and trying to accept that the mass on his brain is inoperable.

He has leaned heavily on his ex, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Maccines Wood), and her doctor husband, John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), to help him get through this devastating news.

Steffy Told Hope That Liam Is Dying

Liam and Steffy share a daughter, and he is staying in the guesthouse for now, so that he can spend as much time with Kelly as possible. Steffy has insisted that Liam also share his diagnosis with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), with whom he also shares a daughter.

Steffy is ignoring her usual hatred for Hope and insisting that she needs to know what is happening so that she can then help little Beth. Liam went to talk to Hope, but couldn’t tell her the truth, leaving Steffy to do it.

After years of fighting, Steffy finally approached Hope with kindness, knowing that she would be equally heartbroken when she learned of Liam’s diagnosis.

They both have been married to Liam, and both have a young daughter with him, so Hope and Steffy are in a similar situation.

Hope had already been thinking a lot about Liam and contemplating a reunion. Now that she knows that the time left with him is limited, Hope can’t help but feel the pull towards Liam.

She can take care of him and be a family with him and Beth for as much time as there is left, and that is Hope’s plan. Steffy can’t get in the way of it, because she is married to Finn, and she wants Liam surrounded by all of his family.

Hope Breaks It Off With Carter

Hope’s relationship with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has already been on ice since he gave the Forresters back their company. Hope felt betrayed when Carter retained his job, and then watched as she was fired.

She cut him out of her life and only recently, has Hope calmed down enough to even talk to Carter, who is pleading for another chance at their relationship.

She was contemplating giving things another try, but news of Liam’s illness has made Carter seem pretty unimportant now. This turn of events means that her focus is on only Liam.
