The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, August 8, 2025, reveal Grace telling Liam what really happened to him, and boy, is it a doozy.

What Will Happen to Liam’s Gratitude?

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) have been marveling at the fact that Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) is so much different from her ex-husband, Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady).

After all, Grace saved Liam’s life and has been so kind to them when Reese kidnapped their daughter and made them believe that Beth was dead just so he could pay his gambling debts. (Make sure to check out our next week B&B spoilers, here!)

Well, joke’s on them because Grace made Liam believe he was going to be dead soon, just to pay Reese’s gambling debts.

John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) managed to figure that out and is aghast that Grace did such a horrible thing and broke her Hippocratic oath in such an egregious way. Grace and Finn have been friends for years, and Finn never imagined Grace could do such a thing.

Liam’s Shock And Horror

Finn is all about honesty and wants Hope and Liam to know exactly what just happened to their lives. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) should hear this too, but she skipped town for a little rest and relaxation.

Finn tells Grace that if she doesn’t tell Liam the truth, then he will do it himself, so Grace starts talking. Liam can’t believe what he hears.

He never had a brain tumor at all and just went through all this emotional trauma for nothing? How cruel can a person be to use a patient like this, even if it was to save her daughters?

Hope is equally shocked and realizes that she should have known to have expected this from the Buckingham clan. Look at how Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) took over as Hope’s son’s mother and stole Thomas Forrester. This is who they are.

How will Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) react when he learns the truth and will he ever get his million dollars back? That’s a lot of money to give away for no reason.
