B&B Showrunner Shuts Down “Trash” Thorsten Kaye Story

There’s a lot going on with The Bold and the Beautiful right now, both on the show and on the internet.  Rumors have been running rampant about the B&B cast this summer, but showrunner Casey Kasprzyk has confirmed that Thorsten Kaye is not going anywhere.

Is Ridge Forrester Leaving

The Bold and the Beautiful fans were in a tizzy over internet rumors that Thorsten Kaye was leaving the daytime TV show. 

The actor has played the part of Ridge Forrester since 2013 and has become a cornerstone of the cast.  It’s no wonder the internet went wild when a website published a rumor stating Kaye was battling cancer and leaving the soap opera.  

Showrunner Casey Kasprzyk took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and set the record straight about Thorsten Kaye’s status on B&B.  

Kasprzyk tweeted “We never comment on rumors like this, but there’s one in particular about Thorsten Kaye that I’d like to state is completely false. Pure trash created for clicks and gossip.”  He went on to tell Bold & Beautiful to ignore the “disgusting rumors.”

Thorsten Kaye hasn’t made any comments about his health, but the actor rarely makes any comments at all.  The Bold and Beautiful star is barely on social media and doesn’t do interviews often.  

Thorsten Kaye’s Status

We know that Thorsten Kaye isn’t going anywhere, and Ridge Forrester will continue to be a huge part of the CBS soap. 

Kasprzyk didn’t exactly clarify if the Bold and Beautiful actor does or doesn’t have health problems.  There could be some truth to the rumors and Kaye was ill at some point, and then the story just snowballed.
