B&B Fans Want To See This Change Happen

Do episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful need to be longer? That’s what a lot of fans and critics of the show can’t help but wonder about these days. That’s because they think that the current episodes – which are only 20 minutes long – are way too short!

And because the storylines are complex, many fans want to see the show extended. After all, their sister soap, The Young and the Restless, is a full hour. Why can’t The Bold and the Beautiful be the same way, right? That’s why fans want to see change.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say. Some have even commented with, “It too short each episode is like 19 or 20 minutes and you get like 2 or 3 scenes for each storyline.”

“We need longer episodes so we can flesh out the storyline more like young and the restless and general hospital that have 30 to 40 minutes episodes which give the audience depth without it feeling rushed.”’

Are The Episodes Too Short?

Another critic wrote, “This is the daytime equivalent to expanding traffic lanes to ease traffic, which has been proven to just make even more traffic by the time it’s done.”

“Plus B&B has most of its shows (except season 9, because we’re never getting that apparently) online , including its glory days where the writers made the 30 minute slot work.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I disagree. They don’t utilize the time that they do have, and I’ve seen nothing in the most recent years to make me believe that they would do better with more time.”

So far the producers of the soap have not made any comments about the matter.

But then again, B&B fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
