B&B Alum Hunter Tylo Hints New Book Offers More Insight To Soap Exit & More

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) alum Hunter Tylo, who originated the Dr. Taylor Hayes role, has been off the show for years now, but fans continue to be intrigued by her story.

In fact, as she conducts various interviews and appearances, including a recent one where she shared details surrounding her Bold exit, she’s also announced a new autobiography that will offer more insight into her soap career, exit, and more.

A New Memoir On The Horizon

Tylo was a guest on The Unexpected Cosmology podcast recently and noted that she is partnering up with Noel Hadley to write her next book.

This is a follow-up to her 2000 release, “Making a Miracle”, where Tylo talks about how her faith, resilience, and strength helped her through some challenging times, including a massive legal case, as well as her daughter’s illness.

More Context

Tylo states that when she wrote “Making a Miracle,” she didn’t provide details on other things she was going through. She states that she, “…had to leave a lot of stuff out about things that were really going on there.” She explained by saying that throughout that turmoil, she was dealing with marriage issues and other ‘real-life problems’ that weren’t included in the first book. Tylo added that this new memoir will offer some missing context, stating, “When you hear some of the stories that were in that book, then you hear what I was really dealing with on the set of The Bold and the Beautiful and the movie business in general and my family life at home, now these stories will make sense to you.”

Hunter Tylo entered The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. Taylor Hayes in 1990 and then exited in 2002, only to return from 2004 to 2014, and once again in 2018 to 2019.

Krista Allen was recast in the role from 2021 to 2023, and in 2024, Rebecca Budig stepped into the part and has played the leading lady since.
