Ashlee Buzzard: Bizarre Act With Missing Child Melodee’s Posters?

Ashlee Buzzard, mother of missing 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard, confused folks with yet another bizarre instance of behavior and it might add a scary dimension to the background of the potential true crime incident. Read on for more about it.

Another Allegedly Unfathomable Act

Ashleigh Banfield appeared on News Nation on Wednesday night and talked about the odd behavior. Apparently, Ashlee may have done something symbolic. Allegedly, she tore out photos of her child from the missing person posters.

Naturally, the new detail adds a scary dimension to the case. There were instances of reports that she traveled through various states the last time Melodee was seen, changing plates on the car. Plus, she received moving boxes. And then, she was spotted moving the packed boxes elsewhere. Remember all of this comes from a person who seems uncooperative and uncaring about a missing child.

A PI Speaks Out

Ashleigh talked about how a private detective, looking into the case, was hired by Melodee’s late father’s sister. Banfield related how he said that someone inside Ashlee Buzzard’s house in Lompoc, California saw the pictures.

He elaborated more, by saying to News Nation reporter Brian Entin, about the event: “I understand that she had taken these pictures off the posters, had cut Melodee out of several of the missing posters.”

The reason for that isn’t known, but the PI recounted how Ashlee allegedly dealt with the pictures after she took them down. “She set them on a table in her house after taking them from the posters. To me, that represents an altar,” Bob said.

He even went beyond that to explain the possible interpretation by saying, “I am not saying she’s dead, but it is something you can have to remember. That is what I got from it.”

The New Court Appearance

The story came on the same day that Ashlee reappeared in court to face a false imprisonment charge. The news about that broke when a victim who knows the family was allegedly held against his will as Melodee’s mom brandished a box cutter. She already appeared before, but was freed with a GPS tracker.

Banfield noted that this court appearance showed a very different Ashlee. True crime followers know that she’s keen on wigs. And once again, her appearance with wigs and makeup made her look very different.

Questioned About Melodee

As she was heading out of the court, Brian Entin asked some questions to the uncooperative mom, but she gave no response. “Can you tell us where Melodee is?” he asked. “Why would you just stay quiet when your daughter is missing? It doesn’t make any sense. Why did you cut her pictures out on the posters? Everyone just wants to know where Melodee is.”

The location of Melodee Buzzard is, for the time being, an absolute mystery. Even though her mother Ashlee Buzzard is still reluctant to give a direct answer, the discovery of the poster pictures provides a puzzling, and perhaps a very unsettling, hint about the mother’s mindset during the search for Melodee Buzzard.
