Alan Cumming Stirs Drama Inviting Donald Trump To Join The Traitor

Alan Cumming Gives Shady Invitation For Donald Trump To Join The TraitorsAs anticipation builds for Season 4 of The Traitors, the hit reality competition is already basking in the spotlight.

The show snagged its second consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Reality Competition Series at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, and host Alan Cumming took center stage to collect the honor.

In typical Alan fashion, the moment didn’t end with a straightforward thank-you. After crediting the series for offering viewers some levity in turbulent times, he slipped in a sly challenge aimed at none other than the U.S. President Donald Trump.

Alan’s Emmy Speech and a Backstage Jab

“It’s a difficult time we live in, but it’s so great that our show brings a little bit of joy into this life,” Alan told the audience during his acceptance speech. But the sharper jab came backstage, when reporters asked who he thought might make a good contestant.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alan replied, “I’m sure our president would be very good on the show, having a lot of chaos and sort of turmoil and treachery. So maybe he’d like to come on and be paid for that, probably better than he gets as president.”

The irony? Trump, of course, is no stranger to reality TV. Long before the White House, he helmed The Apprentice, where boardroom backstabbing wasn’t just expected—it was the whole point.

Who’s Joining the Castle in Season 4

Meanwhile, the castle in Scotland is about to get crowded again. Season 4 promises one of the most eclectic lineups yet.

Bravo fans can look forward to Real Housewives stars Porsha Williams, Lisa Rinna, and Candiace Dillard-Bassett plotting their way through the game.

Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL star Travis Kelce, will also be making an appearance, as will Maura Higgins from Love Island USA: Aftersun.

Inside the Game of Deception

For those new to the series, The Traitors locks its cast of celebrities and personalities inside a Scottish castle, dividing them into two groups: the Faithfuls and the Traitors.

The Faithfuls must work together to expose the saboteurs in their midst, while the Traitors deploy lies, manipulation, and deception to survive to the end.

If a Traitor makes it to the final round, they claim the prize pot alone. But if the Faithfuls sniff them out in time, they split the winnings.

Season 4 of The Traitors will hit Peacock in early 2026, and with this mix of reality icons and a host who’s unafraid to stir the pot—even at the Emmys—the game is already promising plenty of drama.
