On Wednesday, October 30th, the actress shared an Instagram story that offered fans a sneak peek at the festive decorations. In her video, as she made her way to the Society set for filming, viewers could see the charming scene outside the Genoa City restaurant.
Artificial snow blanketed the sidewalk and beautiful wreaths along with twinkling stars adorned the doors and windows. Inside, the festive atmosphere continued to impress, featuring stunning silver Christmas trees decorated with eye-catching pink and white ornaments.

Inside, the lounge and bar area were equally enchanting, draped in green garlands embellished with pink, silver, and gold baubles.
The decorations were truly delightful and have already captured Egan’s heart; “I absolutely LOVE Christmas in Genoa City!!!” the actress shared in her video, accompanied by an aww emoji and festive red and green hearts.
As the holiday season draws near, it raises the question of how characters like Chelsea will experience it. Will the residents of Genoa City enjoy a tranquil holiday, or will drama unfold once again during the celebrations, reminiscent of past Christmases?

The show has showcased some truly lavish Christmas sets and episodes over the years. For example, in 2017, they aired a unique episode structured into four vignettes, each inspired by a beloved Christmas song.
The stories included Sharon Newman, (Sharon Case) Mariah Copeland, (Camryn Grimes) Hilary Hamilton, (Mishael Morgan) Billy Abbott, (Jason Thompson) Phyllis Summers, (Michelle Stafford) along with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Fast forward to 2019, the Christmas episode featured the Abbott Family, highlighting their beautifully decorated home.

Y & R Spoilers – Christmas 2008 –Michael Baldwin’s Wonderful Life
In 2008, they created a version of the classic Christmas film “It’s A Wonderful Life” featuring Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Michael, depressed, had a nightmare of how life in Genoa City would have been for his family and friends if he had never existed.
His ‘guardian angel’ Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) showed him Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) ended up in prison for murder because Michael was not there to defend him.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) mourned Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), who was killed in a stabbing, and Michael couldn’t donate a kidney to help him.
Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) was in a mental hospital, struggling without his brother’s support; let’s hope this Christmas doesn’t have as much drama as that dream!
