Y&R Spoilers: Jack’s Brotherly Advice To Ashley-Don’t Try To Redo What Didn’t Work In The Past

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has some brotherly advice for his sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

She shouldn’t try to redo what didn’t work in the past-not talking about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), he’s talking about Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Face From The Past

Ashley couldn’t believe Cole was back in town, and even though her divorce isn’t complete from Tucker, she flirted with him heavily outside Crimson Lights.

He was friendly, and complimented her that she was still as beautiful as when they were together, and he was glad to see her.

That’s not Cole’s focus-he’s there to support Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and their daughter, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

When Jack hears from Ashley about running into Cole outside Crimson Lights, he’s curious why he’s there-but he’s concerned about her excitement seeing him.

He knows that excitement and he warns her not to get involved with a man from her past when she’s not even divorced from the other!

Y & R Spoilers – Rebound Relationships Often Fail

Jack later finds out from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that Cole has returned to Genoa City to stay-because his and Victoria’s first baby, who they thought was dead, is not.

Nikki’s former assistant Claire has turned out to be baby Eve, all grown up, having been kidnapped by Cole’s psycho aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk).

It turns out he didn’t need Billy to fill him in, Ashley knew, but deemed it unimportant to share-Jack’s seeing red flags everywhere in Ashley.

It’s a miraculous situation to which he could relate-having a child you didn’t know you had, only this is a lot different than Jack and Keemo Abbott Volien’s (Phillip Moon) situation.

Again, he warns Ashley to steer clear from Cole and while friendly interest is one thing, a rebound relationship’s quite another and shouldn’t even be in the cards.

Of course, being called on it by her brother, Ashley denies her excitement over running into Cole again or any interest whatsoever.

She fudges that the situation with Victoria and their daughter was his business, and that’s why she didn’t tell Jack. Jack isn’t buying what she’s trying to sell him, knowing how special and miraculous baby Eve being alive is.

Jack reiterates-be nice, be friendly, if she runs into Victoria be happy for her. But don’t flirt, don’t stalk, don’t try to redo her relationship with Cole from the past!
