Prince Harry Wants To Carry Out More Overseas Trip Following 3-day Tour of Nigeria

Prince Harry is glad to be back in his element, so much so he’s happily anticipating doing it as many times as possible if it means promoting the causes nearest and dearest to their hearts.
Be it Invictus or Archewell or any other charity, when Harry and Meghan get the call, they’ll be there.

Harry Hints At More Upcoming Tours After Rounding Up His Successful Tour of Nigeria

Harry and Meghan recently concluded their three-day trip to Nigeria, which served to raise awareness for Invictus Games now that the sporting event is celebrating its milestone 10th year.

The last Invictus Games marked the first time that Nigeria competed in the sporting competition that was geared towards supporting veterans on their road to recovery.

Following the trip to Nigeria, Harry said: “It is hugely important for us to meet directly with people, supporting our causes and listening, in order to bring about solutions, support and positive change.”

He added that he and Meghan are looking forward to traveling more as a way of furthering their charities or their alliances with others.

“There’s only so much one can do from home and over Zoom, so we look forward to travelling more because the work matters,” he continued. ”Whether it’s the Archewell Foundation, Invictus or any of our other causes, there will always be reasons to meet the people at the heart of our work.”

Apart from promoting Invictus Games during the trip, Harry and Meghan also visited schools and championed Archewell Foundation’s mental health initiatives for young people.

In his statement to PEOPLE, the Duke of Sussex added, “I’m so happy with the growth of Invictus and to include Nigeria. You know what Africa means to me over the years. It is a very, very special place, and to be able to include Nigeria now [in Invictus], I’m very happy.”

Prior to this visit, Harry had faced calls to step down as director of a wildlife conservative group in Africa that reportedly uses extreme measures to keep the locals from living off their own land.
