Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Sussex Rebrand Seen As Betrayal To Deal They Made With Late QueenFor months, It was reported that Harry and Meghan were going through a period of rebranding, but no one could have guessed that when the rebranding was complete, they’ll closely resemble the royal family much more than they’d done since they left the institution in 2020.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Sussex Brand Slammed As “Provocative”

Earlier this week, Harry and Meghan unveiled their brand new website Sussex.com, complete with their list of achievements and a coat of arms.

According to Palace sources, their decision to lean into their royal connections would provide a big challenge for Buckingham Palace’s Lord Chamberlain.

It is said that the top royal aide only has one of two choices: either to block the Montecito-based couple from profiting off their titles or look the other way in order to maintain the fragile family peace.

Harry and Meghan’s decision to replace their Archewell website with Sussex.com came as a shock to many, fans and critics alike.

On Monday evening, the website went live, featuring glowing reviews of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with a coat of arms for Meghan.

This was immediately met with cries to strip Harry and Meghan of their titles, but a royal insider believes it will be hard for the King to do, what with his cancer treatments and working hard to steer the slimmed-down monarchy true in these uncertain times.

One insider said: “Buckingham Palace may have its hands tied in taking action. The King has other things he needs to focus on at the moment and the last thing His Majesty needs is another fight with his son. But this won’t go down well at all.”

Other royal experts insist that letting Harry get away with stunts such as these will inevitably damage the royal brand.

It also raised eyebrows that the new website only contained Meghan’s coat of arms, and not Harry’s.
