Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To Travel To Canada For First Winter Invictus Games

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will reportedly be flying to Canada for a three week event that will mark a first for Invictus Games. This is coming after the Duke traveled 5000 miles to speak with his father following his shock cancer diagnosis.

It is believed that the chat, however short it may seem, would have helped to heal some issues between father and son.

At the moment, Harry is back in California and gearing up for his Feb. 14 travel to Canada to join the One Year to Go festivities ahead of the 2025’s Invictus Games.

The Vancouver Whistler games – which are due to take place between February 8 – 16, 2025 – will mark the first winter sporting event in Invictus history.

The event will include sporting activities like alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, skeleton, wheelchair curling, indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.

Their arrival will mark the one-year countdown to the 2025 games. It will be the first major joint event that the couple have undertaken together this year.

The 2025 event will take place in British Columbia, Canada, with over 500 veterans from 25 countries set to participate in the sporting events.

The coming week will see Harry and Meghan take part in various preparatory activities ahead of the games in way of promotion.

Harry founded the games to help injured veterans recover from the traumas of war and help them be a part of a team again.

Last year, he revealed his desire to keep expanding the games so that more nations can participate.
