Many fans haven’t liked the show or his replacements. Country legend Reba McEntire replaced Blake Shelton. The show also has two coaches in the same seat. Duo Dan + Shay share one of the red swiveling chairs.

He coached many country artists under Team Blake for 23 seasons. It was also the very show where he met his wife Gwen Stefani.

The singer left the show in 2024 before it started filming its 25th season. She admitted she wanted to leave the show to focus on her music career. The singer is riding off the high of her No Doubt reunion at Coachella. Gwen is also releasing a solo album at the end of the year.

Blake Shelton Spoilers – Teases The Voice Return

Blake Shelton spoke to Extra TV about his future with The Voice. On Sunday, April 21, he admitted that he wasn’t confirming an official return. However, he wouldn’t rule out the idea.

“I don’t ever plan on working at The Voice again,” Blake shared. “Who knows? That’s me sitting here as I say that right now. I can’t stay I wouldn’t come by for a surprise appearance. That show is the greatest and most important thing I’ve ever been a part of in my career. It changed my life. When I left, I felt like I really left; we all love each other.”

He could come back to mentor the contestants or to perform one of his songs. The reason why Blake left the show was because of the non-stop filming. He compared his exit to Pat Sajak leaving the Wheel of Fortune. He was the face of the game show for 41 seasons.

“I’ve done it for 23 seasons without missing a single season, you know?” Blake Shelton explained. “I know what you feel like, Pat Sajak! Because that’s kind of how I was starting to feel. If you’re back-to-back seasons, there’s really no time for any other thing you know?”

Blake wants to focus on his family. He also wants to get back to making music again. He went back on the road as part of his Back to the Honky Tonk Tour.
