In the midst of serving a seven year prison sentence for fraud, former Chrisley Knows Best star Julie Chrisley is now dealing with legal woes involving her seventeen year old son Grayson.
Julie Chrisley, who is currently serving her time at a Kentucky prison, was said to have been served lawsuit paperwork following a 2022 car crash involving Grayson. The lawsuit has been filed by a man named Patrick Rykwalder who is suing the family for $750k for injuries he says he suffered after he was hit from behind by Grayson.
Grayson Chrisley – Has Been Accused of Driving Recklessly
Rykwalder has shared his account of the incident. According to Rykwalder, Grayson Chrisley was distracted while driving and was traveling at high speeds when he crashed into the back of his vehicle.
Rykwalder’s lawsuit names both Julie and Grayson as well as Todd Chrisley and Grayson’s sister Savannah.
In addition to the stress of the lawsuit, it has been reported that Grayson recently attended his parent’s appeal hearing. The senior in high school has been struggling since with both his parents incarcerate.
The Chrisley’s – Appeal Hearing
Currently, Grayson is being raised by his older sister Savannah. The pair attended their parent’s appeal together in April.
After, Grayson reportedly suffered a panic attack per Savannah Chrisley who has been sharing details of her family’s hardships on her podcast Unlocked.
“Poor Gray,” Savannah said. “Grayson wanted to be there so badly. I gave him the option of coming because I did not want to force something that maybe he wasn’t ready for, and he insisted he be there.”
Since last August it has been reported that the Chrisley kids and their Nana were working on a new reality tv series featuring their life after Todd and Julie Chrisley reported to prison. There have yet to be any updates as to whether a new show will be released.
