GH Spoilers: No One Will Be More Stunned Than Michael To Learn Dex Really Is the Shooter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) have been colluding to keep Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) safe ever since Michael called off the dogs on trying to take his father down.

All along, Michael thought Dex was his ally in this fight, but as it turns out, he may have been the bad guy all along. Could it be that a Dex came into this picture only because Michael’s need for a henchman to plant into Sonny’s organization gave him the cover he needed to get inside of it?

Rumors are swirling that Dex really is the insider who shot at Sonny at the Metro Court Pool, and if that’s the case, Michael will be more stunned than his own father.

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Plays the Role of the Protector

Dex was ready to take this like a man and go down with honor. With the barrel of Sonny’s pistol staring him in the face, Dex wasn’t going to cave and take anyone else down with him as he went out.

Requesting only that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) be told he took off versus he had been taken out, Dex’s true colors seemed to come through. Just what we needed — another mobster with a heart of gold, right? But is Dex really who he seems?

GH Spoilers Hint Carly Swooped In

When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) abruptly jumped into the mix and pleaded with Sonny not to pull that trigger, she knew she was opening a can of worms that he was never supposed to find out about.

From Dex’s purview, it may have been exactly what he wanted to see happen. Of course, he couldn’t have known it would — unless he knew wiping his phone would trigger an alarm with either her or Michael — most certainly bringing them and their secret out into the light.

It was a big risk to take, but he did it. Was it all a bigger part of the psyop he has them living in though?

Carly went out on a limb, once again dismantling her family and the truth she shared with Sonny, to spare Dex’s life.

So when evidence comes to light that makes it appear as though Dex actually may have been linked to the Metro Court Pool shooting, Michael will worry that it was all for nothing.
