General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, January 15^th tease dealbreakers, deals, and questions of trust.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) proposes a dealbreaker to Ava Jerome, (Maura West) Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) offers a deal, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has questions of trust.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dealbreakers

It’s a dealbreaker for Ava as she asks Laura “why would I do that”? Ava is furious when Laura likely asks her to drop Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) charges.

Laura was shocked at how hardline Ava was being over a broken French door with nothing missing, Esme claiming only to be trying to jog her memories.

They are at the Port Charles courthouse for Esme’s hearing, she may go to prison, or she could stay in the PCPD jail.

Laura believes firmly that Esme has changed and everyone deserves second chances. Ava herself has committed crimes worse than that in the past, after all!

GH Spoilers – An Unexpected Visitor

In the meantime, Cyrus Renault, (Jeff Kober) in his hospital room receives an unexpected visitor-one it looks like he’s glad to see.

He smiles and says “look what we have here”! This is probably Nina who was just at the nurses’ station wanting to know what room he was in as Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) lurked nearby.

After learning from Ava that Sonny beat Cyrus unarmed and was up for assault charges that Cyrus pressed, she’s on a mission. She has to fix this; feeling if it wasn’t for her, this wouldn’t have happened.

General Hospital Spoilers – All Her Support

Elsewhere, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) lends her support as she says this is exactly where she needs to be right now.

She may be with her father Sonny, possibly hearing what happened-if Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) knew, then Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) knew and likely told Kristina.

No doubt she’s heard of the bad breakup instigated by Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) big mouth on New Year’s Eve and the aftermath.

Sonny’s trying to prevent the trial from even happening by trying to eliminate the only witness-Cyrus. But Kristina doesn’t know that, and Sonny’s already sicced Dex to take care of the matter.

GH Spoilers – Martin Gray Tries To Protect His Client

Meanwhile, at the courthouse, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) tries to protect his client, Esme.

He asks Assistant District Attorney Molly Lansing-Davis (Kirsten Vaganos) if she’s sure she wants to get that conviction under those circumstances.

Martin usually doesn’t employ guilt trip tactics but he is likely to bring up Esme’s having a baby to raise, perhaps knowing about the surrogate situation through the family grapevine.

How could someone who desperately wants to be a mother take a baby’s mother away from him?

General Hospital Spoilers – Deals

Nina dares Cyrus if he’s truly sorry, then prove it-trying to make a deal with him to drop his charges against Sonny.

Even Nina doesn’t think it was right for Sonny to attack an unarmed elderly man, regardless of his rap sheet. If she can guilt trip Cyrus with proving his redemption by forgiving Sonny and dropping the charges, then Sonny’s out of trouble.

Nina might even have a few Bible verses to throw at Cyrus to really make the guilt trip stick. She might even tell him faith without works is dead!

GH Spoilers – Questions Of Trust

Sonny asks someone if they trust him, and that’s likely to be Kristina if that is where she’s at giving her support.

Sonny will talk to someone who will cause him to reconsider his hit on Cyrus he requested Dex carry out. Laura is at the courthouse with Esme and talking to Ava, so who else could it be? Question is, will he be able to call off the hit before it’s too late?

General Hospital Spoilers – Esme Prince Takes The Stand

Esme looks scared as she’s in court and is asked how she pleads, as the defendant. She may be even more scared if she doesn’t see Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) in the courtroom with Ace Prince-Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) as he promised.

Spencer had an unexpected visitor who either previously lied to Ava, or changed his mind as his father Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) showed up.

Nikolas had told Ava it was goodbye because he had to leave Port Charles again-not the time to make amends with Spencer or Laura. Yet, there he was at the door right after Spencer sent Ace’s nanny home!
