GH Spoilers: Maxie Eyes Lois As The New Lucy?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers claim Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has had just about enough of Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) antics.

While they are co-owners of Deception, Maxie is tired of managing Lucy’s ego. Fortunately for her, as Lucy began trending following her appearance on Home & Heart last week, Maxie might be able to parlay that into other business activities and opportunities that take up Lucy’s time. This would free her up from playing micromanager at Deception.

What better way to move someone else into the role of being the front woman for the company than to make Lucy think it’s her own decision to step away from the center stage of Deception to focus on more self-serving personal projects?

Lucy can rarely be tempted to do anything she doesn’t want to do. In fact, it’s hard to even keep on the straight and narrow path of what she wants to do will take her off of it.

So when Maxie devises a plan to play up other opportunities to distract Lucy with, there’s a good chance that it just might work.

She might feel the slightest bit bad about manipulating her friend this way, but Deception is suffering because Lucy won’t let up and give someone else the spotlight. Maxie can’t let that happen any longer.

GH Spoilers – Squeal Lois Has An Eye For Beauty

Maxie may not necessarily try to tease Lucy’s attention away from Deception because she has someone better in mind.

Rumor has it that it’s not going to take long after she sends Lucy in another direction for things to become clearer to her about the future of the company.

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) has recently come into Maxie’s orbit when she stopped by the Home & Heart set to bring Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) to bail them out of Lucy’s disaster.

When they come into contact again — possibly at Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) — Maxie may find it hard not to note how much she seems to know about the beauty and event planning industry.

If Maxie starts thinking Lois is just what Deception needs to take itself to the next level, it stands to reason that Brook Lynn would be fully on board with bringing her uber-talented mom into the fold at the company. But how would Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) feel about that?

She just might take their offer if it comes with Brook Lynn and Maxie agreeing to oust Lucy from the spotlight — making her a distraction Tracy has to encounter even less.
