General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) wasn’t in Port Charles during the time that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was terrorizing the entire town, especially his mother Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis).
Cyrus eventually went to prison but only after committing a laundry list of violent crimes. He finally went to prison after taking Laura hostage and almost killing her. In the middle of all this, Laura discovered that Cyrus was also her half-brother.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Almost Had Ava Jerome Killed
While in prison, Cyrus claimed to have found religion. He also suffered a severe heart attack around the same time. Cyrus forced Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) to testify in court that after the heart attack, Cyrus was too frail to be in prison.
Austin agreed but only because Cyrus’ men had taken Ava Jerome (Maura West) hostage and threatened to kill her if Austin didn’t comply.
Later, Austin was killed right before he has going to provide evidence that Cyrus had even more crimes he could be charged with. Austin’s killer was never discovered.
GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Claims To Be A Changed Man
Since getting out of prison, Cyrus has seemingly found religion. He’s been trying to get in Laura’s good graces with limited success.
As much as Laura wanted to give Cyrus another chance, his behavior recently around Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) sent up alarm bells for both Laura and Lucky.
Cyrus was removed from all approved visitors list, but he found a way around that by becoming a volunteer at Turning Woods, the facility where the comatose Lulu was confined until recently.
General Hospital Spoilers – Lucky Spencer Wants Cyrus Renault Back In Prison
Lucky already believes that Cyrus has bad intentions where Lulu is concerned. He also knows how much trouble Cyrus has given Laura over the last few years.
Lucky may finally be able to put Cyrus back in prison if he can successfully prove that Cyrus murdered Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) by giving her a dose of digitalis.
Since Cyrus was once a drug kingpin, it wouldn’t have been difficult for him to get his hands on the medication. Its just a matter of obtaining proof.
What do you think?
Is Lucky the right person to bring Cyrus down? Why is Cyrus so obsessed with Lulu? Did he really murder Sam for reasons that aren’t yet clear? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
