GH Spoilers: Is Jason Morgan A Bad Dad? Fans Reel Over Social Media After Inheritance Scene

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that the Tuesday, April 9 edition of the soap had fans shocked on so many different levels.

Viewers saw Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) jump into some hot and heavy “hate sex”, while Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) noticed something very sketchy about Ava Jerome (Maura West), and then there was also the scene between Diane Miller (Carol Hennesy) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan’s Inheritance Drama

GH spoilers note that Jason was trying to get his affairs back in order and needed Diane’s help. Moreover, he wanted to reclaim what he once had in terms of assets, money, and companies.

During the discussion, it was stated that Jason divided his inheritance three ways: half of it was equally split down the middle between his two only sons, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jake Spencer (Hudson West), while the rest of it went to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

As it was difficult to process because he was “presumed dead” without an actual death certificate, Jason would be able to access his money soon. Still, the inheritance spill triggered many GH fans online.

GH Spoilers – Was This Inheritance Split, Fair?

Many GH fans were shocked that Jason would give 50% of what he was worth to Carly, while Jake and Danny (who are young and need their father’s money a lot more than a 50+ woman who was well established at the time of Jason’s passing), got a mere 25% each.

Then, some fans argued, that Jake and Danny are likely also set up quite well financially due to their Quartermaine last name, which would include ELQ shares and any money that is left to them once their grandmother, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) passes away.

Jason hasn’t been exactly a warm source of affection to either son since he’s returned. While Jake didn’t want to have anything to do with his dad when he came by for a visit, Danny seemed eager to bond with Jason while he was recovering at the Qs boathouse.

Stone Cold never rejected the boy but wasn’t exactly as heartwarming as some fans would have wanted.

Although, this could be that he’s keeping his emotions at bay because he knows the risk involved to Danny if his son gets “too close”.
