GH Spoilers: Finn And Elizabeth Come Across A Clue-Someone Dropped An Empty Syringe In Cyrus’ Hospital Room?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) come across a clue.

Might they find someone dropped an empty syringe in Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hospital room?

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Incapacitated

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was found incapacitated, to say the least, in his hospital room at GH; the last person known to have visited him was Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros).

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) had been hesitant to carry out the hit that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tasked him with-but then waited outside the room until he saw Nina leave.

General Hospital Spoilers: Finn And Elizabeth Come Across A Clue-Someone Dropped An Empty Syringe In Cyrus’ Hospital Room? The plan was to disguise himself as a doctor, in scrubs and a mask, and inject something in Cyrus’ IV line to give him a fatal heart attack.

That would be completely feasible-no surprise, since Cyrus had a near-fatal one before, when he was beaten in Pentonville and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gave him CPR.

Sonny reconsidered, but wasn’t able to get through to Dex, who had his phone silent so he wouldn’t be detected in the hospital.

GH Spoilers – Dex Heller Would Have Been In A Hurry To Leave

Dex would have been in a hurry to leave, because he couldn’t shut off the heart monitor or it would send an alarm and the room would be swarming.

There would be nurses and doctors and a crash cart brought to resuscitate Cyrus, as is their Hippocratic oath duty, the closest personnel to the room responding.

As soon as the substance in the IV reached his heart, the monitor would have gone off as well-startling Dex, who may have dropped the syringe.

Elizabeth and Finn very well could be the closest ones to Cyrus’ room when he goes into deadly distress, and when resuscitation procedures are done, notice the syringe on the floor.

General Hospital Spoilers – Police Will Be Involved Regardless

Regardless of whether Cyrus lives in a coma or dies, the police will become involved once that syringe is found and taken into evidence.

Although Dex would be too smart to leave prints, there could be a bit of the heart attack-inducing substance left in it, which would match the toxicology report done on Cyrus.

Nina could be implicated as a person of interest since she was the last known visitor before the incident which left Cyrus incapacitated, putting it mildly.

So, the clue Liz and Finn find in the form of a dropped syringe will prove to be the weapon used in the attack on Cyrus-but not necessarily identify the attacker.

Like the case of the Metro Court Sniper, Cyrus’ attacker may be difficult to identify, but all roads will lead to Sonny or Nina!
