DOOL Spoilers: Nicole Turns To Chad For A Job At The Spectator – Revisiting Journalism Roots?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) could embark on a new career path by pursuing one of old.

During the Tuesday, April 16 episode, she had an interaction with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) where she revealed she had prior reporter roots and seemed to “light up” as she was talking about. Could Nicole decide to join The Spectator team?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Nicole Walker Makes A Pitch

DOOL spoilers for the week of April 22-26 hint that Nicole will pitch a story for The Spectator in hopes of landing a job there. After all, she has had plenty of experience as a reporter, once working for Titan TV.

She may feel like it’s time to move forward in her life and do something different. Chad may even be interested in interviewing and hiring Nicole, but will EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) have an issue with the entire thing?

After all, with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) threatening to tell Nicole that he was in the “know” about his role in Clyde Weston’s (James Read) drug ring, EJ may want her far away from a place like The Spectator.

Then again, maybe the drama that could arise with this new job has more to do with Baby Jude than EJ throwing a tantrum about Nicole working for Chad’s newspaper.

DOOL Spoilers – The Leo Stark Factor

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) isn’t only Ms. Lady Whistelblower, he’s been working on other pieces for Salem’s main newspaper, too. If Nicole lands a job there, the two could be working rather closely together.

Leo has been blackmailing Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) in hopes that she’d come clean about Baby Jude, but so far, she’s been willing to jeopardize her financial situation versus fessing up.

The more she’s in Leo’s orbit, the more she’ll see some sort of friendship between Leo and Sloan, which could have Nicole’s eyebrows raised.

She may even think there’s a possible “story” there. Could she learn that Stark is blackmailing Sloan? Could this be a way the truth about Baby Jude comes out?
