Did TLC Fire Angela & Michael? 90 Day Fiancé Fans Are Starting To Think So

Let’s be honest – most 90 Day Fiancé fans would be happy to see the back of Angela Deem, while we probably all feel sorry for Michael Ilesanmi for the hell he has been going through.

However, Angela and Michael were originally part of the cast of season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? but so far, their volatile relationship hasn’t shown up on the show.

We are already six episodes into the TLC spinoff and not a peep has been heard. Viewers are now taking note of this and rumors are flying that the couple has been fired.

For years now, viewers have seen Angela and Michael’s relationship play out, and fans were a little surprised that they were part of the cast of season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?

In a trailer for season 8 shared in February 2024, we got a peek at what has been happening with the controversial couple. Their segment of the trailer revealed that Michael’s spousal visa interview at the Embassy didn’t go well.

The pair has been waiting three years for the interview, on what was dubbed the “most important day of their lives. In the trailer, Angela hinted that if Michael’s visa was denied, their relationship would be over.

Meanwhile, in the trailer, it seems that his visa was denied, as Angela tosses her blond hair in exasperation as Michael approaches her after the interview.

Fans believe Angela and Michael have been fired

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Spoilers: Did Michael Ilesanmi Really Run For His Life?

As mentioned, we are already six episodes into season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? without a sign of Angela and Michael.

Does this really mean that they have been fired, or are they somehow appearing in later episodes? Fans wouldn’t be too disappointed if TLCs most controversial couple has been dropped by TLC.

On Sunday night, after the latest episode, titled The Itsy Bitsy Liar was aired on TLC, fans headed to X to air their views on whether the couple has officially been kicked out the door.

One fan wondered if Loren and Alexei Brovarnik’s unexpected appearance on the show was in an effort to replace Angela and Michael. As the couple already had their own spinoff, it did seem strange and could just be a last-minute effort to keep the cast members up.

Among the tweets/X posts (whatever), one fan wrote, “Guess Angela and Michael did get fired and we got super lucky!” Meanwhile, another 90 Day Fiancé fan wondered if some legal action was responsible for their lack of air time so far this season.

Moreover, one fan decided to conduct a survey to ask fellow fans, “Did we finally prevail? Did TLC finally remove Angela from this show? I’m starting to feel hopeful that that’s the case and we don’t have to endure her abusive a** anymore. What do you think?”

The result of the survey revealed that 47 percent did believe TLC had fired Angela by choosing the option, “Yes, they removed her.” However, 52 percent voted, “No, she’ll show up.”

90 Day Fiancé fans have been begging TLC to drop Angela from the show for some years now. Meanwhile, Deem has been following the gossip on social media. Last year, she responded to a comment on social media stating that she had been fired, calling the story “fake news.”

What with the latest off-TV news of Michael disappearing for some time in the US because he felt unsafe, it looks like we haven’t heard the last of the unfortunate pair yet.

In the meanwhile, fans can keep up with season 8 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? on Sundays at 8 pm ET on TLC. With a bit of luck, the season will continue without any sign of Angela.
