The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has already firmly put Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in her place and neutered her power at Newman Enterprises.

She is furious and acting out, which just proves to Victor that she wasn’t meant for the job and he made the right decision about her new position as co-CEO rather than full CEO. This basically makes Victoria his assistant.

Speaking of assistants, that’s just what Victor wants to make Adam Newman (Mar Grossman) as he tells him he will not become Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) assistant.

Considering how some Newmans see Nate as nothing but an interloper, this doesn’t sit well with Adam, who actually deserves to be CEO over non-college-educated heiress Victoria. Will he tell Victor to take this job and shove it?

Victor’s Other Kids Conspire

Victoria is determined to save face and have power so she turns to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), the brother that she actually likes. He thinks if they team up, they can be more powerful than their father.

She doesn’t count on the fact that Nick is sick of all of it and just wants some peace in his life.

He is happy with the business venture he is starting with Sharon Collins (Sharon Case) and wants out of Newman Enterprises, a company he never wanted to ever work for, to begin with.

Mamie Has Words With Nate

Adam doesn’t want to work with Nate and Mamie (Veronica Redd) is sick of seeing her nephew seem like he is ruining his life.

She can’t believe what has come over him. How could he go from a successful doctor to a corporate raider? Medicine was his life, not business.

Will Mamie’s words register with Nate? Will he see he is going down the wrong path or will he continue to do all the wrong things?

This is not the Nate who returned to Genoa City a few years ago. In fact, he seems like a different man altogether. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how these stories play out.
