Elena held herself accountable when she betrayed Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) trust. She owned it when detailing what happened with his cousin, Nate, and a hard split happened.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Nate had no qualms about going after Elena because he sensed she did not love Devon. That proved true, as Sarpy’s character has remained committed to Nate for a while.

Victoria is used to getting most of what she wants. A recent marriage to the late Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) ended horrifically. Her former husband remains lightly connected to the show through Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

But Ashland was a rebound from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who remains the love of her life. Yet, Victoria became Billy’s keeper rather than his wife. So, the split was needed.

Heinle’s character holds a position of power over Nate in two ways. She is a powerful head of one of the greatest corporations in the world. Nate admitted to Victoria that he is drawn to her appeal.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Needs Structure

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is transactional, as Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) accurately assessed her. She has been written into an intriguing position because she, like Victoria, wants Nate.

Nate must be careful not to push Elena away. He is sincere in wanting to build a life with her.

Hopefully, an engagement happens, and he keeps Victoria at bay. It feels like Nate wants to do what is right. But he can not stay steady, with Heinle’s character and Audra waiting for him to fall into their arms.

But being a Newman means Victoria will probably not relent. And if Nate refuses to comply with her wishes, Victoria could offer him an either-or choice career choice on Y&R.
