Y&R Spoilers: Victoria And Adam’s Family Battle Contrasts With Lily And Devon’s Resolution

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) contradicted her father in front of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) regarding who will head McCall Unlimited. Of course, Victoria and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are assuming they will secure Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) despite his intentions of selling it to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Victor enabled the resolution Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) reached during the bicentennial celebration for Genoa City, Wisconsin that was held at the retro setting, The Genoa City Athletic Club. A section of the GCAC was turned into a jazz club, named in honor of the late Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) mentioned Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) name during the presentation she and Victor made to kick off GC’s gala. She said that one of the city’s greatest citizens, Katherine, was honored when the park was renamed in her honor.

Chancellor Park is an often-used setting at all times of the year. It rightly pays tribute to Cooper, who died in 2013, by honoring the legendary character she played.

Kristoff St. John’s unexpected death in 2019 was followed by an emotional series of tribute episodes and a two-part behind-the-scenes show where current and former cast members, including Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Winters), spoke about St. John’s importance in their lives. So, it was great to see TPTB honor him by creating the lounge and including a prominent photo of the late actor.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Remains Hopeful

Victor has assured his son that he will become the head of an intended standalone business. McCall Unlimited is Victor’s target but will not be folded into Newman Enterprises as Victoria wants.

Heinle’s character is unusually optimistic. She knows her father wants to purchase Tucker’s company as another opportunity for Adam to prove his worth. Yet, she continues to say that her youngest brother will not head the company once it is acquired.

Adam remains hopeful because Victor remains the head of the family business. Victoria’s Chief Executive Officer title is what Victor allows. With that, Adam feels confident his father will stand by his promise and not allow Victoria’s slanted opinion to rule.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lily Winters Realizes Breakthrough

Lily has been pushing her brother to find a solution to what should have been a resolvable issue months ago. Devon resisted, and his stubbornest eventually being revealed as connected to his feelings for Neil.

Devon and Lily miss their parents. So, Victor and Nikki’s kind gesture helped Neil and Drucilla’s children realize what really matters.

Hopefully, the breakthrough, along with Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) decision to stop the initial public offering, creates lasting family peace between Lily and Devon. The outlook is not optimistic where Victoria and Adam are concerned, which continues to confound Victor on Y&R.
