Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) rejected Sally’s offer to leave their business partnership. That conversation in the main dining room at the fabled Genoa City Athletic Club led them to relocate to the Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) Jazz Lounge.

Lily and Devon were not anticipating Sally and Chloe’s pitch. But they appreciate the points made and like the idea of refreshing their corporate setting.

Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) did not like the increasing bickering. She was disappointed that Devon would not open to the initial public offering plan she presented.

Lily backed Jill’s IPO idea, believing the influx of new cash would allow CW to expand. But Devon was leery of the recently merged company losing control.

Devon agreed to merge Hamilton-Winters with Chancellor Industries because of the strong family business that would be formed. Jill later agreed to drop the stock idea, and Devon stayed on board.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Needs A Chief Operating Officer

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is still in love with Sally. That, along with his need for an executive staff that he trusts, caused him to offer the mother of his next child a job.

Sensing an opportunity, Adam believed Sally’s desire to support herself matched his need to fill a key role at the company his father just purchased for him. But the newest love of his life turned him down.

Of course, that momentary rejection does not sever the ties between Adam and Sally. The child she is expecting this summer bonds them forever, and Adam remains ever-open to future opportunities to rebuild their personal relationship.

Sally was surprised when Adam offered to recreate the Newman Media power structure at McCall Unlimited. She considered the opportunity to serve Adam in a position that would have been similar to the one at Newman Media but with more gusto.

Viewers can connect the daytime dots. Sally and Chloe’s work for CW will be noticed. Adam, wanting to refresh McCall Unlimited’s look and likely change its name, could solicit the design skills for the company he heads. Alternatively, Sally could make a pitch to him on Y&R.
