Y&R Spoilers: Is Victor Wrong About Sally? – Adam And Nick Fight On

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was brought into the loop and did not like it. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) told his father something he did not know and another point he did not want to hear.

Adam advised that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) baby is his child. Victor assumed his older son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), was the father.

Victor laughed off Adam’s glowing business recommendation for Sally when they were part of Newman Media, seeing that Grossman’s character was blinded by the appeal of Hope’s character. And yes, blinded was a wink to hardcore fans who recall how Adam once even manipulated his temporary loss of vision, a condition he inherited from his saintly mother, Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman).

Victor does not believe he is meddling in his children’s lives. Instead, he feels it is a paternal instinct that drives his defense.

Adam and Nick are no longer in grade school. They are decades beyond that with marriages galore and children of their own.

But Victor knows from experience that issues of the heart can create anything from distractions to personal disaster. Both of his sons have endured hardships with various women. They were involved with several of the same ladies, now including Sally.

Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Is Not Seeking Money

Sally has enjoyed the Newman brother’s access to the good life. However, she notably turned Nick down when he encouraged her to start a business and said he would financially back her.

Hope’s character was also upfront with Nick about having been with Adam during a period when she and Morrow’s character were apart. Sally let Nick know Adam might be a paternity candidate when that was an open question.

Sally still loves Adam, but she honestly broke from him and does want a life with Nick. Victor sees Sally as an opportunist, and nothing she does will change his mind at this point or potentially ever.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Both Brothers Newman Can Not Win

Nick is with Sally, and Adam knows he has no current chance with her. But Adam senses Sally’s feelings for him did not evaporate.

Nick was devastated when he learned Adam was the father. But he remained by Sally’s side, further endearing himself to her.

If the paternity test results were legitimate, it is hard to fathom Nick as Sally’s forever man. Victor will try to get Nick to see the daytime light while also chiding Adam on Y&R.
