Y&R Spoilers: Does Nick Newman Have His Priorities Straight?

The Young And The Restless: Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has a lot on his plate. In one corner, he’s been trying to help ex-wife Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) deal with crazy Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and neglecting his boyfriend duties of helping out pregnant gal pal Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Fans have mixed emotions about Nick’s priorities as of late, so is he being a good friend or a bad boyfriend?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Team – Nick Newman Should Be By Sharon Case’s Side

Y&R spoilers reveal that Cameron has now kidnapped Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), so this has turned into a completely different situation.

Still, prior to Faith’s kidnapping, it would make sense that Nick would place all his efforts on Sharon’s situation because it affects his family.

While Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is out of the country, he believed Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), possibly her baby Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle), and Faith were in danger (and he was right).

It’s not about which lady he loves more or messed up priorities, it’s about protecting his family. It’s also about ego for Nick, but not in a bad way. He brought down Cameron years ago and he really should’ve killed him then, but he didn’t. He may feel as if that mistake will end up costing him, dearly.

He also does care for Sharon, but that doesn’t mean he loves her more than Sally. Plus, Ms. Spectra does have Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) by her side, so he knows she’s being well-watched over.

Y&R Spoilers – Team – Stick By Sally Spectra

Still, prior to the kidnapping and even before the foster cat was found dead, Nick was glued to Sharon’s side from the moment they both put two-and-two together about Kirsten’s return.

Sure, Sharon and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) aren’t officially a thing, but he is still a good friend who could’ve supported her during this time; especially after Shick confided in the cop about their past with Cameron.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Nick got out of jail, instead of swinging by Sally’s to check in on her, he headed straight to Sharon’s; he did this before he found out about Faith’s kidnapping. So, is Adam right? Will Sharon always come first in Nick’s life?
