Y&R spoilers reveal that on social media, Grimes made an exciting announcement. The actress announced that she is expecting her first child.

“I guess you can add mother to my resume.”

Of course, Grimes’ co-stars as well as fans commented on the exciting news. Now, the announcement on Instagram was especially cute.

There were several photos of Grimes’ baby bump surrounding a magnetic board. On the magnetic board in the center of all the photos were the words, “Baby Foster, Arriving December 2023.”

Grimes announced that she is expecting a child with her fiancé, Brock Foster Powell. The two were engaged in January 2022. With Grimes’ due date being in December 2023, that puts the actress around 5-6 months pregnant.

Mariah Copeland’s Pregnancy Storyline

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Grimes already has a well-pronounced baby bump.

So far, fans have noticed Mariah looking a little fuller than usual. Now that Grimes’ pregnancy has been announced, there is a very happy reason for that.

While this is Grimes’ first child, her Y&R character already has two babies. One is the little girl Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) adopted together. Then, Mariah had a baby bump during the surrogacy storyline.

At that time, Grimes’ wore a pregnancy pad during the storyline. It is not clear if Grimes’ baby bump will be written into the soap, though.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Story Possibilities

Perhaps Mariah and Tessa decide to have another baby, although it seems a bit quick for that. Mariah expressed interest in wanting Tessa to experience pregnancy. However, careers, health and other factors could complicate that.

So, maybe Mariah ends up carrying another child. It’s also possible that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) decides to have a child with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

This time, the dynamics and Mariah’s expectations of the surrogacy could be more positive.

Of course, it’s also possible that Grimes’ baby bump will be hidden. There is a lot unknown right now, but more information will be unveiled as Grimes’ due date gets closer.
