The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) believes he can handle Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He wants to defy Jack’s advice and pull one over on his sister’s newly remarried and suddenly estranged husband.

Billy means well. He thinks he is protecting the Abbott family and its business from a dangerous threat.

However, Thompson’s character appears to be underestimating his older brother and despised brother-in-law.

Billy told Jack that he wanted to let Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) know Tucker represented a threat. Jack did not like the idea of coming between a father and his son.

But Billy sloughed off Jack’s comparison between someone trying to do that to him if John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) were still alive. He said the comparison was not the same.

Devon did not appreciate what Billy did when meeting with him at Society. He saw through Billy’s attempt to use a fight Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker had to put doubt in Devon’s mind about his father.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Rehires Son?

Jack had a recent talk with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that, in recent retrospect, looks like a foreshadowing.

Kyle said he would think about returning to Jabot but wanted a top job. Digitally skip to Jack forcefully saying that he should fire Billy when seeing him at the Society bar aside from Devon.

Billy’s cryptic text to Devon drew him to the impromptu meeting. Jack’s accidental sighting of that pairing informed him that Billy had once again gone behind his back.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) had Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) fire Kyle. So, the free agent is primed to rejoin his father at Jabot.

Tucker offered a bluff to Billy during the period in the plot when St. John’s character and Ashley were considering taking over Jabot. Tucker played into Billy’s insecurities by telling him he could run Jabot if Simply Ashley took control.

Viewers know Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) just agreed to take money from Tucker in exchange for providing him with Billy’s financials.

She is using her hacking skills to obtain that dirt because of her need to pay off an insurance company’s life insurance policy that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) illegally cashed in.

Fans see the danger that Jack tried to prevent Billy from pursuing on Y&R.
