Y&R Spoilers: Ashley Wants Tucker To Succeed – Audra Connection Remains Dangerous

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) had a long enough look. While she has trepidation about her most recent ex-husband, Davidson’s character believes Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) can reform.

As has often been the case in Genoa City, Wisconsin, a lady is attempting to rescue a rogue from himself. Ashley has enjoyed some success, though fleeting, with these efforts in the past, including with Tucker.

Tucker admitted to Ashley that he did not know how to be a father to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). She realized that shortly after Tucker returned to GC.

As fans recall, Tucker left town after his mother, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), died. He was off-screen for years, with occasional references made about him.

While Devon initially rejected Tucker as his biological father, they parted on decent terms. James’ character was surprised by Tucker’s comeback but stayed in sporadic touch with him and held no beef until Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was revealed as a mole inside Chancellor-Winters.

Tucker’s use of the term transactional applied a nice bow to Audra’s personality. While she is smart and strikingly gorgeous, Silver’s character shares a major flaw with Tucker.

They use people to advance personal and even momentary agendas. Then, when some of the characters they manipulate call them out, Tucker and Audra run their mouths about it. But their glib talk only reinforces the devious behavior they have engaged in.

Audra and Tucker formed a romantic connection before arriving in GC. Their bond goes beyond physical appeal because they value each other’s devious minds.

Buying all of Tucker’s debt was a very bold move. It could also be considered an extreme way to stay connected to someone you love.

Viewers know Audra and Tucker have been romantically involved on more than one occasion since St. John’s character rededicated himself to Ashley. Audra is currently clanging a triangle that includes Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

If Audra determines Nate does not want her, Tucker would be a fallback option. Considering the trouble Audra is stirring with Victoria and Elena, Tucker hopes she does not do the same with Ashley on Y&R.
