It is teased in Soap Opera Digest magazine that Mariah and Tessa are surprised when a clap of thunder doesn’t wake Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle).

The parents brush it off until it happens again.

This leads to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) trying to assure the parents that one of her children did the same thing.

However, Tessa and Mariah become even more worried, which leads to a hearing test. It is teased that Aria is deaf.
