Yellowstone Season 5 Spoilers: Wes Bentley Talks About Jamie Dutton Possible Demise

Yellowstone spoilers and updates tease that season 5 has 14 episodes and fans are going to have to wait until later this year to watch the second set of seven episodes.

Yellowstone Spoilers – Inevitable Mortality

There are plenty of rumours swirling about the second half of season 5, and if there will even be season 6 after that. One thing we do know, someone is going to die. So far the rumours have been that patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner) will meet his maker.

Many fans are speculating that Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) goes berserk and kills John. It wouldn’t be a far-fetched possibility since Jamie did kill his biological father. The feud with Jamie against his family is at an all-time high, and he has aligned himself with a very dangerous woman, Sarah Atwood, who is hell bent on fueling that fire inside Jamie so that he takes down his Dutton family.

Yellowstone Updates – The Cast Address Second Half Of Season 5

Cole Hauser, who portrays Rip Wheeler, addressed rumours that he may be the one to meet his maker, “My mom’s told me a couple of them and I said, ‘Mom, I do the killing. Don’t worry about it. I think we’re OK. For now.” This rumour came from the talk of Matthew McConaughey joining the series, fan discussed the possibility of his being a new love interest for Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip exiting the show.

Yellowstone fans will recall that Beth smacked Jamie in the face with a rock and threatened to reveal to everyone that he killed his biological father. Jamie wasn’t going to be jarred with that threat, he threw one right back at her saying that he knew all about the “train station” where the Dutton’s have being throwing bodies for decades. And, in the midseason finale, Jamie discovered some shocking information about John which followed with Jamie making a call to impeach him as Montana governor. Beth was furious and urged her father to kill Jamie.

If John doesn’t take out Jamie, a more likely scenario here for the second half of season 5 is for Beth to take him out. There is no way she is going to sit back and let Jamie take down her father and the Dutton clan.

Although Wes Bentley doesn’t know if Jamie will be killed off, he had this to say, “I just learned to not expect anything, except enjoy the moments, I’ve had so many as Jamie. It’s like I’ve played many characters in one and I’ve gone so many places with him. It would be hard to forever let him go in a way, but also I’d feel fulfilled if I had to. “Who do you think will be killed off on the second half of season 5?
