The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Ep. 4 Trailer – The Search For Laurent

A new teaser trailer for episode 4 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon picks off where episode 3 left off. Viewers will have seen Laurent run away from Daryl and Isabelle at the end of episode 3, after he learned of his real parentage. Moreover, Daryl and Isabelle were separated after Codron and his soldiers from the Cause chased Daryl onto the rooftops of Paris.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Episode 4

In the trailer, Daryl and Isabelle regroup at her old apartment, while trying to work out where Laurent went. Moreover, the teaser shows a horde of walkers, along with Laurent gazing up at the Eiffel Tower.

As has been revealed in the spinoff, Isabelle’s sister, Lily, was carrying Laurent, but the baby was cut from her womb as Lily became a walker. Due to the circumstances of his birth, Laurent is viewed as a Messiah figure by the Union of Hope. Moreover, the Union believes that the boy will bring peace to the post-apocalyptic world.

In episode 3, Isabelle gives Laurent a photo of his mother, Lily, taken in front of the Eiffel Tower. However, now Laurent finds out that Quinn is his true father which is clearly a problem, leading to him running away from Isabelle and Daryl.

What is the secret behind Laurent? Is he immune?

So far, it is unclear what will now happen, but it is possible he could be immune to the zombie virus after being born from a walker. Having had a glimpse of Laurent approaching the Eiffel Tower, he is surrounded by walkers, who seem to ignore him which could mean something important. Meanwhile, judging from the trailer we will get to see more of Laurent.

Fans will recall that the Cause is working on creating super-strong zombie variants in the hope for a long-term solution to kill zombies more easily. Possibly the boy could get involved in this, if it is found that he is, indeed, immune.

However, hopefully, as the season continues, we will get to know more about Laurent and his important role. Episode 4 airs on Sunday, October 1, so there isn’t too long to wait.
