Duggar Family News – Josh Duggar’s Back Story

Duggar Family news reveals that, according to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, in May 2021, Josh Duggar was sentenced to 151 months (about 12 and a half years) in prison for downloading and possessing child pornography.

Duggar is currently serving his time in FCI Seagoville in Seagoville, Texas. Josh has maintained his innocence and his attorneys are reportedly looking to overturn the case against him. He stood before this judge in February 2023 for his appeal after his defense team had filed an appeal on October 3, 2022.

Anne Duggar – Plans To Move Close To Josh Dggar’s Prison

Josh’s wife Anna Duggar is unhappy with the appeal. A source told In Touch Weekly, “Of course, she prayed that Josh was wrongly convicted, that he had changed his ways and was innocent, but he was found guilty, sentenced and she accepted it,” adding, that it has been a nightmare for Anna and “very difficult. ” And while appeals may be necessary, “for her, it just feels like it’s dragging this nightmare on.”

Another source informed In Touch that Anna may be moving to be closer to her husband. Of course, it’s worth noting that prisoners are often moved to different facilities for any number of reasons and Anna’s move could be for naught. However, the source explained that Anna “does want a change from her life in Arkansas.” Also notable is that Anna’s sister happens to live close to Josh’s current prison.

FCI Seagoville Serves Cereal With Bugs Per Source

Of course, prison life isn’t intended to be glamorous, but, according to a source for The Sun, prisoners at FCI Seagoville are often served expired food.

“The food they get is regularly expired,” the source revealed. “They’re just, like, really disgustingly expired, always by at least a couple of weeks. And it’s, like, milk. All sorts of like stuff that can’t be expired for that long. They had a run of cereal that had bugs in it, and so people just couldn’t eat their cereal because it was filled with bugs.”

The source also claimed that the prison also runs out of food frequently and often for days. “It’s only ever been like a one or two-day thing at a time, but the portions are also small enough to where if you can’t afford to buy food on commissary, you’re going hungry,” they said.
