Sister Wives Spoilers: Is Christine Brown Really Considered Royalty In AUB Church?

Sister Wives spoilers reveal that Christine Brown has a lot more clout than she has been letting on, especially in the Mormon and AUB churches. Many of her fans thought that when she left Kody Brown, she may have given up religion too. That is still up in the air, but it does look as if Christine and her family are seen as royalty in the church, and here’s why.

It looks as if Kody may have actually married Christine to gain clout in the Mormon church. Kody even talked about how he married her on the tell-all. He mentioned that he thought it would make him “cool” in the church if they did get married. Christine and her family are all listed in the AUB church as pretty important members. The AUB church is an offshoot of the Mormon church called the Apostolic United Brethren.

Christine’s family, the Allred’s has been in the church for decades. In fact, it began with William Allred. His son, Isaac Allred actually was a very close friend of Brigham Young. Interestingly enough, Christine’s grandfather, Rulon C. Allread is the founder of the AUB church.

It only makes sense to fans that Kody would marry Christine for clout. Her family is incredibly important in the church and he knows it. Christine’s family has been involved in polygamy for decades, so this was nothing new to her. Kody has mentioned many times on the show that at first, he didn’t have any interest in Christine, but when he learned more about her family, he was interested.

Christine leaving her polygamist marriage may have caused a stir in her family. If they are all part of this church, things could be tough for her. She hasn’t opened up too much about her famous family, but we do know that Kody was drawn to her for that reason.

There have been a lot of Christine’s fans asking if she was still involved with the church now that she has left Kody. She hasn’t revealed too much about it, but her fans did see her drinking a Bloody Mary on one of her Instagram posts.
