See the Silly Reason Dominic West Lost Touch With Friend Prince Harry

See the Silly Reason Dominic West Lost Touch With Friend Prince HarryDominic West portrayed King Charles in the popular Netflix historical drama “The Crown.”
But while “The Crown” may have ended after six seasons of sweet sweet royal drama, West just kicked off a new phase of royal drama and our ears are perked up.

Dominic West Says He Lost Touch With Prince Harry After Saying Too Much At A Press Conference

Prince Harry may have told us the story of his frozen todger, and yes we did share a couple good laughs over it, but he’s not comfortable having his business revealed by someone else. No, I don’t mean *that* kind of business.

West and Harry were once buddies, maybe not buddies buddies, but buddies all the same. But not these days, despite the fact that the two were engaged in a charity event that involved them taking a trip to Antarctica.

Why, after this shared history, did the fictional royal and the real-life royal lose touch? Well, West mercifully answered this for us during his recent interview with Sunday morning.

During the interview, he was asked whether he spoke to Prince Harry before taking on the role of King Charles on “The Crown,” to which he speedily replied, “No, we sort of…no.

I said too much in a press conference, and so we didn’t speak after that.” Interesting. When he was asked to elaborate, he added, “I think I was asked what we did. What we did to celebrate when we got there and probably said too much.”

It’s true we don’t know the exact thing that was said to create tension between West and Harry, but Us Weekly seems to have found an old West quote on Harry.

“[Harry] was very much part of the team. He seemed to specialize in building latrines. He built this incredible castellated structure with blocks to keep out the wind, and it even had a [toilet] roll holder,” the actor said at the time.

While it’s unclear whether Harry watched the final season of “The Crown,” he once confessed to watching the series during his chat with James Corden in 2021.

He said the show “gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that.”

He then went on to confess that he feels way more comfortable watching “The Crown” compared to seeing the latest thing the press has written about his family.
