Savannah Chrisley Describes 16-Year-Old Brother’s Breakdown Amid Parents’ Incarceration

Chrisley Family News – Savannah Chrisley Describes Sibling’s Difficult time

Chrisley Family news reveals that according to Insider, Savannah, who is also Grayson and Chloe’s legal guardian now that their parents are serving lengthy prison sentences, opened up on the latest episode of her “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley” podcast that dropped Tuesday. The 25-year-old shared an update about how her family is coping two weeks after the Chrisley patriarch and matriarch started their prison sentences for bank and wire fraud as well as tax evasion (via PEOPLE).

Savannah revealed that she didn’t feel she was doing an “adequate enough” job of taking care of her younger siblings while her parents were away. She explained that her two younger siblings were having a more difficult time with their parents’ absence.

Savannah Chrisley’s – Heart Breaks for Her Brother

“Last night, Gray had a breakdown, and he’s trying to process my parents and the situation that they’re in and how that’s not the image that he wants to have of them,” the Growing Up Chrisley alum revealed. She added that with Grayson being 16, “there’s so much growth going on with him right now, and it breaks my heart to know that my parents are missing out on that.”

And, as for Chloe — Todd and Julie’s biological granddaughter who they adopted in 2016 — Savannah explained that she is “trying to process them being gone and missing her mom.” She described a recent incident when Chloe came at her with a barrage of questions about why her parents have been taken away from her.

“She just said, ‘Why? They’re not bad people, they don’t belong there. Why?’” the former TV personality recalled. She went on to describe how when she told the youngster to pray to God to “take our anger away and help us deal with our sadness a little better,” she broke down in tears.

“She looked at me with tears just rolling down her face and said, ‘Guess what? I pray all the time. I pray for mom and dad to get home, I pray all day and guess what, Sassy? Nothing happens, it doesn’t work.’”
