A lot of royal fans couldn’t help but notice that Prince William looked very different during his most recent outing with his aunt, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. In fact, many eagle-eyed fans noticed that his body language was quite different with his aunt than what fans are used to seeing with his own wife, Kate Middleton. Here’s what you need to know.

While at a screening for the new movie, Prince William definitely looked more comfortable and at ease with Sophie. He also appeared to be standing a little closer to Sophie than he normally does with his wife, Kate Middleton.

Not only that, but a lot of people also mentioned that Prince William smiled and laughed more with his aunt than he normally does. Clearly, this is a pairing that works!

Of course, many royal fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have commented with, “They both look like they don’t hate each other or the event they are doing. It could also serve as a screen test for William’s next wife. There might be a blonde mistress in the pipeline for wife2″.

“This pairing also looks like another bad sign for Kate. Peg doesn’t need her for anything,” along with, “The difference in chemistry with his aunt versus his wife is really obvious. He’s looking at Sophie and not walking away leaving her in the dust. If you watch the video of them exiting the vehicle, William even walks over to Sophie so that they walk in at the same time. You don’t see him acting that way with Kate Middleton.”
