Royal Family News – Princess Diana’s Former Butler Has Prince Harry Used To Be Jealous Over Sausages

According to Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, as a young boy Harry would often ask why he only got two pieces of sausages for breakfast while his older brother William got three. Apparently, one of their nannies said, “William needs filling up more than you. He’s going to be king one day.”

In Spare, Harry says that it was Burrell who made his blood boil the most. He felt as though Burrell had stabbed his mother in the back with his 2003 book, A Royal Duty. A statement issued by both William and Harry and even from Clarence House accused Burrell of “a cold and overt betrayal” over the book. And it looks like those feelings certainly haven’t changed at all over the years.

In Spare, Harry says that in 2003 while he was in Australia he had received a package from Buckingham Palace that contained memos instead. “Mummy’s former butler had penned a tell-all which actually told nothing,” he said. “It was merely one man’s self-justifying, self-centring version of events. My mother once called this butler a dear friend, trusted him implicitly. We did too. Now this. He was milking her disappearance for money. It made my blood boil.”

Harry said that he wanted to confront Burrell over the matter but that both King Charles and William had talked him out of it.
