Royal Family News: Prince Harry Feels More Like A California Guy Than A British Royal These Days

British Royal Family News says that it seems like Prince Harry has adapted to his new lifestyle pretty well. In fact, the Duke of Sussex has made it pretty clear that he feels more like a California dude than a British royal these days. That, and he doesn’t see himself ever going back to the UK, either. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to People magazine in a new interview, Prince Harry made it clear that he’s someone who is looking forward to the future and not dwelling on the past. He also said that he still hopes to reconcile with his family members back in the UK.

He said, “I’ve said before that I’ve wanted a family, not an institution—so of course, I would love nothing more than for our children to have relationships with members of my family, and they do with some, which brings me great joy.”

He also said that he envisions himself living in California for the long run. He said, “I’m looking ahead and am optimistic for what’s to come. I have a beautiful and blessed life—one that comes with a platform, and with it responsibility that Meghan and I plan to use wisely. I feel I am exactly where I am meant to be and exactly where we [my family] are meant to be. I don’t think I could have written this book otherwise.”

That, and Harry says that he also loves In-N-Out. But then again, who doesn’t, right? He said, “In-N-Out is the best! I order two double-doubles, animal style, fries and a Coke! And that’s just for me! Meg gets the cheeseburger and fries with sides of jalapeños. I just stick with ketchup and that special sauce of theirs. So good!”

In Spare, he also talked about how his children, Archie and Lilibet, got to meet Queen Elizabeth. “Sweetest children, Granny said, sounding bemused,” he wrote in the book. “She’d expected them to be a bit more . . . American, I think? Meaning, in her mind, more rambunctious.”
